The YouthCares After School Enrichment Center is for children ages 5 to 12 years old.  Our program providesn a stimulating environment after school care, summer camps, Science Saturday events and homework assistance.  Studies have shown that each teacher spends less than ten minutes a day with each student in their classroom.  Our program helps to support student achieve their academic goals.   Our staff is comprised of retired educators, qualified child care workers, and teachers of the pine belt area.    Background checks are performed on all staff members and volunteers.    Some of the advantages of attending YouthCares Include:

Students in Kindergarten through 5th grade can be enrolled in our after — school program.  Whether you plan on consistent basis or as a “drop in” we ask that you please enroll your child before they come to our after — school program.  We have created a convenient form for you to quickly fill out online.  You must fill out one for each child that attends.

Registration:  Registration and payment for YouthCares After - School Enrichment Center and Tutoring Program must be completed and submitted before or on upon arrival of the  child’s first day at the facility. Full payment is required  each Monday that services begin for the participant.  Due to limited space, refunds will not be given.  There will be no proration of fees for any days a child participant cannot attend.  If participants are receiving tutoring services in more than one subject special packages are available. Drop - In Services: $25 a day
