The YouthCares After School Enrichment Center is for children ages 5 to 12 years old.  Our program provides a stimulating environment for after school care, summer camps and Science Saturday events. Studies have shown that each teacher spends less than ten minutes a day with each student in their classroom.  Our program helps to support student achieve their academic goals.   Our staff is comprised of retired educators, qualified child care workers, and teachers of the pine belt area.    Background checks are performed on all staff members and volunteers.    Some of the advantages of attending YouthCares Include:

Students in Kindergarten through 5th grade can be enrolled in our after — school program.  Whether you plan on consistent basis or as a “drop in” we ask that you please enroll your child before they come to our after — school program.  We have created a convenient form for you to quickly fill out online.  You must fill out one for each child that attends.

Registration:  Registration and payment for YouthCares After - School Enrichment Center must be completed and submitted before   arrival of the  child’s first day at the facility. Full payment is required  each Monday that services begin for the participant.  Due to limited space, refunds will not be given.  There will be no proration of fees for any days a child participant cannot attend.  Tuition: PLEASE NOTE THAT THE TUITION RATE HAS INCREASED TO $85 / PER WEEK.  Due to the new system /app that we are now using known as Procare to cover the processing fees of payments made through the app the tuition increase will now include the processing fee.  Tuition is due every Monday by 6:00 pm  Acceptable forms of payment are : Cash App $youthcares , Paypal: youthcaresms@gmail.com and through the Procare app.  Procare does allow you to set up automatic payment drafts as a option, debit card, credit card and ACH payments as well.   CASH AND CHECKS ARE NO LONGER ACCEPTED.

Late Fees:  For tuition not paid on time , a late fee of $10.00 per day will be charged on your account.  Additionally  a fee of $35.00 will be charged on any ACH payments that are returned through the Procare app.  Tuition is expected for days your child may be absent due to illness, family emergencies, doctor visits, hospitalizations, vacations, or any other reason.  Please note that tuition rates do not change in the event of a week including a holiday.
